This lovely place started off as a takeaway/delivery joint. Since then it has grown into an intimate 22 seater restaurant as well as carrying out its takeaway/delivery functions. It is an Indian styled restaurant (being owned and run by Bangladeshis, so I knew what to expect). I opted for the chicken tikka chilli masala (£9.90) with keema nan (£2.90).
Service was good,the waiter was quiet yet polite and well experienced. The portion size was superb for the main dish and modest for the keema nan. The keema nan was tasty. The chicken tikka was succulent and plenty of it, but the sauce was sweet and spicy,something it should Not have been-it did detract from an otherwise fine flavoured dish.
So to sum up, lovely intimate BYO restaurant with takeaway facilities that serves up Bangladeshi styled cuisine,not strictly speaking Indian, but tasty and value for money for what it was.
